OLBIA:
a glorious past and a radiant present

Olbia, in Sardinian "Terranoa" and in Gallurese "Tarranoa", is a thriving city in northern Sardinia. The first access point for the island, the Isola Bianca port and the Costa Smeralda airport make it the preferred destination for those who want to travel to this beautiful region.

A natural port since ancient times, it was the basis for the inland movements of the Romans and Carthaginians, who left numerous artifacts that we still find today.

Young, lively and full of vivacity, in the summer it pours into the central and oldest area of the city overlooking the seafront.

Here we find Corso Umberto where we find excellent restaurants and pizzerias, and where you can enjoy an artisan ice cream or taste typical products of the area and - why not - drink a good myrtle, a typical Sardinian liqueur. You will also find contemporary boutiques and shops where you can shop, all in a festive setting.

The Olbia seafront extends up to the splendid beaches of Pittulungu, Bados, Lo shark and many others, all of white sand and crystal clear water.

Outside the inhabited center, towards Berchidda and the countryside of Monti, the wine center where the famous Vermentino di Gallura is produced) there are numerous farmhouses that we highly recommend to visit to taste the classic Sardinian dishes, including Gallura soup and suckling pig.

At the northern entrance of the city, towards the Gulf of Marinella and the Marineledda residence, we find the commercial area (in Località Basa) with shops, outlets, supermarkets and a shopping center (Terranova shopping center) and many other services, just 10 minutes by car from the Marineledda residence.
